Tiago S. Jesus

Tiago S. Jesus is post-doctoral scholar at the Global Health and Tropical Medicine & WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Workforce Policy and Planning, New University, Lisbon, and a practicing Occupational Therapist in Portugal for 14 years. After concluding his European PhD in Health Psychology in Spain, Dr. Jesus has been producing independent research and have authored over than 30 peer-reviewed articles in the rehabilitation, global health, health services, human resources, and methods research fields. Dr. Jesus is often as first, senior, or corresponding author, has published in top journals of his fields, has been an editor of scientific publications, writing several editorials, and is an awarded peer-reviewer by the top rehabilitation journal.

Dr. Jesus has been leading the development, or the methods development, of several systematic or scoping review approaches (including a scoping review of rehabilitation scoping reviews), and is a frequent reviewer (e.g. of the BMJ Open) for the publication of scoping review protocols.
